Hi, I'm Elissa. I’m a podcast producer, journalist, and (sometimes) outdoor guide. I have a master’s degree in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, a graduate certificate in Audio Documentary from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and sociology from Johns Hopkins University. I’m from Rosendale, NY, and have lived in Los Angeles, Baltimore, Maine, Colorado, and San Francisco. Some things I like are dogs, skiing, and dark chocolate.
