Hi, I'm Elissa. I'm a podcast producer, journalist, and (sometimes) outdoor guide based in San Francisco. I currently produce Futurology, a long-form podcast from the Berggruen Institute covering philosophy, technology, governance, and culture.

I have a master's degree in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School, a graduate certificate in Audio Documentary from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, and a bachelor's degree in anthropology and sociology from Johns Hopkins University. I live in San Francisco and hail from NY's Hudson Valley.
